Congratulations! Now that you re admitted to Nevada State College, you'll want to take a few additional steps.

What do I do next?

  1. Take Placement Tests or submit ACT/SAT scores
    ACT/SAT is not required for admission to Nevada State College; however, scores will be accepted for placement in Math and English courses. Students who do not submit ACT/SAT scores are required to take placement tests at no cost. Please call (702) 992-2507 to schedule your placement tests if necessary.
  2. Sign up for New Student Orientation
    Review the dates for New Student Orientation and reserve your space online by clicking here.
  3. Complete FAFSA and NSC Scholarship & Grant-In-Aid
    The Free Application for Federal Student Aid is available January 1st and should be completed by the priority file date of March 1st. The NSC Scholarship and Grant-in-Aid application can be found online here by visiting the Office of Financial Aid and Student Employment. This application should also be completed by March 1st.
