PEBP offers medical, dental, life, accident, disability and long-term care insurance for you and eligible dependents. The Board also offers healthcare insurance options for retirees who are not yet eligible for Medicare and others who may be eligible. The PEBP web site provides all the details related to those benefits. You can view the plan choices and learn about eligibility, enrollment procedures, and much more. The Public Employees Retirement System (PERS) is a program governed by the State of Nevada that provides retirement plans, comprehensive retirement planning, and retirement education to all state employees. For all classified staff as well as professional staff who have previously participated in PERS, this will be the retirement plan in which you participate.

The Nevada System of Higher Education (NSHE) administers the retirement plan alternative (RPA) for all professional staff who have not previously participated in PERS. It also administers the flexible spending account (125 plan) for all employees.
